Say hello to Tom, our new Head of Digital
We are delighted to tell you about a new addition to the Content OD team. Tom Scott brings bags of experience down the M1 from Leeds to Sheffield as he joins us as our new Head of Digital. He's straight into the thick of things, working on client accounts and our own clever content.
A bit about Tom
We're really pleased to have Tom on board and we know that he's happy to be back in Sheffield as part of the city's digital scene. He has worked in the industry since graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012.
While living and working in London, Tom was part of the social media commentary team for Team GB during the 2012 Olympics. After that, Tom travelled north again to Leeds, where he worked at two different agencies, primarily on social media and online advertising campaigns.
Over the last seven years, he has helped develop local, national and Europe-wide campaigns for a series of high-profile brands, including Yorkshire Tea, Ryobi and Milwaukee Tools and Park Inn by Radisson hotels.
Raring to go
It's this experience and knowledge that makes Tom such an exciting addition to our team and we can't wait for him to get started and make an impact. He'll be working with clients on digital and social media strategy as well as putting our own content marketing plan into action.
One key aspect of Tom's role at Content OD will be to expand our paid advertising offering. His expertise in this area should make a huge difference to our clients' ability to reach their audience and gain more exposure. In fact, he's already here and making a difference – welcome Tom!
